Rapper Tru Life Receives Eight Year Sentence| News

Former ROC-A-FELLA artist “Tru Life” (Robert Rosado) received an eight year sentence early yesterday after pleading guilty to manslaughter in the 2009 stabbing death of Christopher Guerrero.  An altercation which lead to the stabbing also involved Tru’s brother Marcus, who was sentenced to ten years.

Tru Life signed to the Roc in 2005 after an audition with Jay-Z.  His last release was the mixtape, Tru York.  He became involved in much publicized beefs with fellow rappers Jim Jones and the group, Mobb Deep.
